Looking for a sleek new bowl to take your fur baby’s mealtime to the next level? Whether you have a feisty feline, a demanding diva, or a cool cat, frank green’s Stainless Steel Pet Bowl - Small will turn their humble drink or mealtimes into a fine dining experience!

Need a cat food bowl or a cat water bowl? Whichever it is, everything will taste paws-itively meow-velous in frank green’s stylish range. Made from food-grade stainless steel, their meals will be pure unadulterated flavour as they lap up every last morsel. They’re also anti-slip and engineered to be anti-vomit (it’s a cat thing). Their concave design gives their whiskers a nice break (whisker fatigue is a thing!) while they’re enjoying their midday meal or afternoon drink. When the bowl’s empty, just pop it in the dishwasher for an easy cleanup and you can curl up together for a catnap on the lounge.

Why not give them the very best? Spoil them by monogramming their name and emoji to match your own frank green essentials—like your iced coffee cup or reusable cup—and you’ll never mix up Fluffy and Coco’s meals ever again (a fire-able offence).

How to clean a cat bowl

Cleaning your frank green cat bowl is fairly simple. Rinse the bowl under warm running water, then hand-wash with dishwashing liquid or soap. Our own stainless steel cat bowls are strong and robust, so they can be popped into the dishwasher for an easy clean. Prefer to hand wash? Their smooth concave design means that a quick scrub in warm soapy water is a breeze.

When it comes to cleaning cat bowls, stainless steel is a fantastic choice as it’s easy to clean and it won’t wear out. It’s also odour-neutral, which is great for cats and their sensitive little noses. Their solid construction also means they’ll last for years to come—just like our pet collars  and dog leads—which means less stress on the planet and your wallet.

Should cat bowls be elevated?

You may have heard that raised cat bowls help cats keep their food down as they aren’t hunched over the bowl as they eat. This can help if your cat has digestive issues, although cats are notoriously fussy (it’s why we love them, right?) so it can be a bit of trial and error when introducing anything new. We’ve specially engineered our small bowl design to cater for cats and their—unique—vomity quirk, so you can rest easy knowing all you’ll be cleaning up when they’re done is the leftover food in the bowl.

Do cats like deep or shallow bowls?

Cats prefer bowls with a wider, shallow design. And this all comes down to their sensitive little whiskers. Besides adding majestic flair, cat whiskers also serve a clever practical purpose, sensing objects around them and even changes in the cat-mosphere. In short, they have the spidey senses. Because of this, some cats can get whisker fatigue from stimulation against the side of their food bowl if it is too deep or narrow.

Our food and water bowl for cats considers these fatigued felines, thanks to the shape and shallow concave design of our small bowls, Mittens will have a more relaxing mealtime.
